Well, it’s finally here folks. The big game is this Sunday Night 4th February 2018 and here at Gridiron and Gravy, we could not be more excited for the game. In Manchester we are hosting our Super Bowl Party, that will be one barnstormer of an evening. Myself, however, will be watching this game through analytical eyes, watching to see if my predictions here come to life in the biggest game on the planet. Tennessee Titans 14 New England Patriots 35
Next week, the season truly begins for the New England Patriots. Nowadays, it is a foregone conclusion that the Patriots make it to the AFC Championship Game and this year, they coasted through the divisional round in style, destroying the Titans 35-14.
Tricky Dicky’s Magical Defensive Act
Quick note here to start; I had every intention of doing a separate week 13 and week 14 update. I even had my wrap up of the Titan’s win over Houston written and ready to send to our Grand Overlord. However, on proof reading, I realised that everything I had written about that match was incoherent and overall the piece was an attempt at the world record for swear words in an article. Given that our loss to the Cardinals had so much in common with what happened against the Texans, it seemed apt to mix the two weeks together to give an overall state of where the Titans sit at the moment.

This has been a hell of a season as a Broncos fan. It’s gone from hoping to win every game, to hoping not to lose too badly, to hiding behind your hands praying that the team will somehow manage not to be so terrible that you question why you watch this stupid sport.
Well, from that perpsective this was a doozy; two – yes two – safeties, a pick six, a blocked punt, an onside kick recovery by the Dolphins, plus the sight of an ex-Broncos player humping the football in celebration.
Oh and all that culminated in a blowout loss to the Jay Cutler led Dolphins, sheesh.
New England Patriots 23 Buffalo Bills 3
In a season long battle for the first seed against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New England Patriots continue to add to their win total as all roads lead to an epic Week 15 matchup to see if the playoffs really will run through Foxboro again as they typically do. As mentioned previously on the Patriots Week in Review, these games don’t really matter for the Patriots. They’re slam dunks before you’ve even found the game on GamePass. Whilst the top teams in the NFC battle out for a limited amount of playoff spots between a bunch of great teams, the Patriots are sitting pretty in a weak AFC knowing that there is only one big game is left in the regular season for them, and it’ll be taking place at Heinz Field.
