The 2018 NFL season saw Gridiron & Gravy launch it’s good causes program and today we’re delighted to announce a new partner for the season, i2Gether.
i2Gether is a Community Interest Company providing activities, away days, outward bounds and leadership courses for vulnerable young people.
The team at i2Gether works closely with Manchester-business Independent Together, which provides leaving care services for 16-25-year olds throughout Greater Manchester’s boroughs.
Commenting on the link up, Andy Hunt, founder of Gridiron & Gravy, said:
“As fans of the NFL it’s great to be able to work with an organisation such as i2Gether who helps vulnerable young adults to develop physical skills, exercise, make friends, have fun, learn to play as a member of a team, learn to play fair, and improve self-esteem; we share a lot of the same values. We launched our good causes program this year and we’re looking forward to helping i2Gether reach out to the local community in Manchester, helping out vulnerable young people.”
i2Gether founder, Paul Barlow said:
“We’re delighted to team up with Gridiron & Gravy. It is a great opportunity to gain awareness of the important work we do with vulnerable young people in the community.”
All good causes funds raised on the night of Gridiron & Gravy events will help i2Gether and the work they do in the local community.
If you’re attending this season’s Thanksgiving Party at The Brotherhood of Pursuits & Pastimes, Manchester, you’ll be able to meet Paul Barlow in person and also buy a raffle ticket to be in with a chance of winning an NFL shirt of your choice!
